I'd love it if everyone were a swing voter. Sure, have a party preference, but then vote for the candidate closest to your values. And we do need debate, so voting for the same party or party supermajorities is counterproductive. That's nothing more than an echo chamber, hardly going to bring the results that actual debate brings.
