Has anyone asked the Haley voters - or any voters - about illegal immigration on the border with Mexico regarding Biden-Trump? It's the only issue that might cause me to support Trump, which in all honesty, I find appalling. Ukraine is the other - and I would support Biden. How did we get into this mess?
Haley voters strongly support restrictive immigration policies in this poll--both Biden's proposal to use executive powers to stop illegal migrant crossings (+77 net support) and a range of Trump's stricter ideas such as deputizing the National Guard to remove criminals and gang members here illegally (+69 net support), building a full wall on southern border (+55 net support), and rounding up undocumented migrants for deportation (+38 net support).
Biden has some great ideas, especially around junk fees and medical negotiations. He really does, but he has some other fundamental ideas, like immigration, spending, DEI, and women that are just too hard to overlook. For me.

Seems unlikely. More likely the other way after some significant period without saying anything about Trump.
