Voters should realize, the inflation that is economically gutting 75% of Americans began with Trump's 1.4 %inflation rate, and stable prices. Should Harris win, she will be begin her term with gas up 50%, food up 37% and electricity up 30%,per the WSJ. To say nothing of, never before seen, housing and insurance costs.

Harris has promised to pass the Green New Deal with a $10 trillion dollar starting cost. She intends to provide free healthcare, to all migrant new arrivals. And the Harris migrant numbers will dwarf Biden's because the world now understands , if they can make it to the US, they can stay.

At the same time Kamala promises to ban fracking and deep water drilling. Because the price of oil is relevant to nearly every thing we buy, Kamala's inflation, would make Joe's seem tame.

Most importantly, the Harris inflation producing programs, would arrive, on top of Biden's current sky high prices. Give Harris a term, and Americans will not face, just, gutted living standards, but economic Armageddon.

I predict that if Harris wins, we will then have at least 8 years of Republican Presidents. Kind of what happened after Carter, but I think Carter will be looked at as great in comparison the Harris.

It seems like the Brahmin left will be in control of the campaign, if the racially themed elite Zoom calls are any indication. If that's the case, I would guess that any economic message will not have serious intent behind it, even if it is part of the marketing.

Kamala won't win. The economy has already started to sputter (contrary to what you are reading in most media), she has no link to the working class, has no real message why she needs to be president and runs solely on an abortion platform.

If Democrats followed the views of The Liberal Patriot, I could be a Democrat. But, Harris and too many others are too far to the left. They love identity politics and race/gender warfare. As a moderate I cannot vote for Harris, even with a more moderate VP, since the VP typically has little influence. I long for the pre 2000 Democrats.

100% agree.

Add to this analysis all the "factory towns" data put out by American Family Voices, and it seems crystal clear to me that focusing on kitchen table economics is the key to winning mid-western battleground voters. HRC lost them, Biden gained some back, and now they're very much up for grabs and quite unmoved by "threats to democracy" warnings.

What about the Blueprint polling which you use in this article. Funded by Reid Hoffman, who this past week called for a Harris administration to fire FTC chairwoman Khan. Chairman Khan is lauded by everyone from Elizabeth Warren to JD Vance for her unswerving anti monopoly pro worker enforcement.

I liked that long article a while ago detailing Blueprint polling, and I'm appreciative of Hoffman paying for it. 4,000 people polled if I'm remembering right. I also love having a fierce cop on the enforcement beat for the first time in years. Non compete hiring contracts, Pharmacy Benefit Managers, Subscription unsubscribe, all things of interest to workers, and Ms Khan seems to be our champion.

I'm having a hard time figuring out who is wearing the white hats here and which side Kamala Harris will fall on. I like bringing factories and businesses back to America, I like tariffs. Where is Harris on these issues and especially immigration.

Well Reid Hoffman and his fellow billionaires run the Democrat party now, so any "polling" he funds is suspect.
